40-Hour Basic Course for Activity Directors Hybrid Course - in person - April 4-5

The class will start at 8:00 am on April 4, and will end around 1:00 pm on April 5. Attendees will be required to complete all recorded modules prior to class and come prepared to participate in a Q&A with all of the presenters as well as to participate in the activities as outlined in the information that will be sent.
The 40-Hour Course is intended to serve as a basic foundation of knowledge needed for entry-level competency. You will need to have the following to participate in the recorded sessions: Pens/Pencils, Notebook, Activity Calendars, MDS Forms, Charting Forms including Daily 1-to-1s, Daily Documentation, progress notes, and assessment Forms.
NMHCA/NMCAL is currently offering this course as a hybrid model with both recorded modules and in-person sessions. The in-person date listed is subject to change, and at least two weeks' notice will be provided to all attendees if a new date is set.
Handout books will be mailed to participants within a few days of registration, and participants will receive an email with additional information and module access. All modules and homework assignments MUST be completed prior to the in-person training.
